Asia Argento grew up in Rome Italy. Her family is a group of actors and she herself has been pursuing both careers. Trauma was her first film created with her father. Her mother, Daria Nicoledi, was Argento's most beloved actress. In Trauma she played an anorexic searching for the killer of her parents. She played an appearance as the physically challenged girl in the film. She worked again with Michel Piccoli on Peter Del Monte's Traveling Companion in 1995, which earned her another David di Donatello, as in addition to an award from Grolla D'oro.
